Every Thursday afternoon, I’ll be releasing an in-depth breakdown of my top game of that given week in college football. This week’s game was pretty easy to pick as there’s only one ranked versus ranked matchup, and it’s between two powerhouse programs in Michigan and Oklahoma.

We’re counting down the final 25 days before the college football season by previewing every one of our preseason top 25 teams! With 14 days left until week zero, we continue our previews with my No. 14 team in the country – the Oklahoma Sooners.

Every year, college football teams around the country improve or get worse from season to season. Some of these changes are large, like Florida State going from 13-0 in 2023 to 2-10 in 2024, and some are very minor, like Texas A&M finishing 8-4 virtually every year. But predicting which teams will do what before the season even starts is a difficult game, especially in this day and age with the exponential roster turnover from year to year.
